Zoo Animals Cake
To make this zoo animals cake, bake a sheet cake the size that you need. Ice the cake with ivory colored icing, making sure it is nice and smooth. Let it set for and hour.

To do the background make a stencil of a long leaf like on the cake. I used Parchment paper to do this. You can also use stencil material which can be bought at a craft store.
After the icing has set hold your stencil near the bottom edge on the cake top and spray it with the edible green food color spray. Do all the way across the bottom edge. Make sure to let this dry before proceeding.
Use the round tip #5 to do all the outline work and the star tip #16 to do all the fill in work.
With a stylus or pointed object draw the elephant, the monkey and the lion. Now make a medium gray icing and outline the entire elephant. Using white icing make the eyes. Place a black dot in the center of each eye and two dots at the end of his trunk.
Make a light pink icing and outline the pink area in the ears. Fill in this area with the same pink icing.
Now make a light gray icing and fill in the entire elephant. Next you will do the monkey. Make a dark brown icing and outline the head part and the tail, and fill them in. Also make the line in the ears, the smile, and the nose.
Now make a tan icing and outline the ears and face. Fill them in with the same tan icing.
With white icing make the eyes. Place a black dot in the center of each eye. Do the lion's mane next. Make a yellow tan colored icing and using tip # 47 make the lion's mane. Using the same color icing outline the entire lion face and ears.
use a tan icing and outline the nose and then fill it in. Now do the eyes. Use the white icing and make the eyes. Place a black dot in the center of each eye. Use the same black icing outline the whiskers and the lines in the ears.
Make a lighter yellow tan icing and fill in the lion's face. Using the star tip #18 and the ivory icing make a shell border on the top and bottom edges of the cake sides. There you have it, a zoo animals cake!
