Walt Disney's Bolt the Dog Cake
by Nancy
(Rialto, CA)
I first made a white cake in a 9 x 13 pan. I copied off a picture of Bolt the dog. I did the chocolate transfer, (thanks to Lena) what a doll to send me how to do it. I need practice because I didn't connect the lines to the dog too well.
The transfer came off okay, but apart. I frosted the cake with cream and then put the transfer on and made butter cream to fill in the dog face.
I also made some puppy feet to put around the cake and they are in chocolate with the same idea. I put the chocolate on was paper and when dry put the puppy feet on. I use a tip for going around the top of the cake. I don't know what size. I can't see the numbers they are worn off..I have the cake in the freezer now until I can find someone to give it to...The movie with Bolt will be coming out in the movies the end of the month. It looks like a great kid movie and for adults who are kids..love Nancy from CA
