Vampire in the Twilight
The coffin is a 3 layer red velvet cake, hollowed out down to the second layer. A chamber of rolled icing was placed here that contained a mix of glucose and red food coloring. Then another layer of icing on top to create the inside bedding of the coffin.
The lid is a sheet of icing that I hand painted in food coloring. The stone floor is chocolate cake covered in rolled icing and painted.
When the cake was cut it bled...
