Treasure Chest Cake

To make this treasure chest cake, I used white cake mix, white icing colored brown, yellow icing, and black icing gels for the detailing. I also used toy gold coins for the details around the treasure chest. It took about 1 1/2 hours to make.
I stacked two half sheet cakes on top of each other for the shape, and then used a casserole dish, cut to a curve for the top of the cake. I iced it all with brown icing, the added the details with yellow icing, and black icing gel.
