For this teddy bear birthday cake, I found a cake tin in the shape of a teddy and I thought it was perfect for my daughter's teddy bear picnic party. I baked a chocolate fudge cake in the teddy mold and two square cake tins.

Once cooled, I set the cakes on a platter with some buttercream icing. I covered the cakes with a thin layer of icing to avoid crumbs and left to set for 20 minutes.

Therafter I used a thin star nozzle to create the fur and placed raisins as the eyes, nose and mouth. to cover the presents around the teddy, I bought ready made icing, colored it and molded it to the cake.

Lastly, I added edible glitter in caramel and pink to the cake. My daughter loves the shine:)
