Rapunzel Tower Cake

This Rapunzel tower cake was made of a 10 inch chocolate cake as well as 8 inch chocolate cake with strawberry filling and regular homemade butter cream frosting. The 8 inch cake was placed on top of the 10 inch cake to form the base of the tower. The brick work around each layer is made of fondant.
The cake is covered in green colored fondant. All of the pink, purple and yellow flowers and the leaves are made out of gum paste. The grass is green butter cream frosting as well as the vines going up the tower as shown in the picture above.
The tower is a piece of pvc pipe that was stuck into the base and is covered in rice crispy treats. It was then covered in purple fondant and decorated with more pink flowers that were made out of gum paste. The Rapunzel house and Rapunzel at the top of the tower is also made out of fondant.
