I made this princess castle cake for my daughter's 4th birthday.
It is made out of 2 cakes - 6 " round and 8" round on stacked to form a castle. It has seven towers decorated to have " brick " effect and the sides of the cake has the same brick effect to make look more natural. Tower peaks are done with violet royal icing and sprinkled cake sparkles to get glitter effect.
Piped grass to cover the top of the board & add few royal icing tiny flowers on the grass patch. Then used four princess - being this for 4th birthday - cake toppers for the princesses to complete.
hi i am interested in making this for my daughter and wondered if you can send the whole recipe to my email pls ...raquelabyrne@hotmail.com

So Cute!! by: Nancy
Maheshi, what a cute cake, I know your little girl must have loved that cake. They are so proud to have a mother do them cakes. Mine are still proud to get a cake made by me, rather then a boughten one. My kids are all in there fifties. I was wondering what did you use for the towers, were they cans? Let me know..email nrcourtney@aol.com Thanks and keep up the good work...Nancy from CA

Good job by: Lena, Kuching Malaysia
You have done a pretty job. I am sure your daughter is very proud of you. I have not try a castle cake.
May I know the cake is frosted with buttercream or fondant and how do you make the bricks effect?
