Poker Cake Instructions
Easy directions for making this poker cake:Related Cakes
Ice the cake in white buttercream icing making sure the surface is nice and smooth.
Use your white icing and star tip, size #32 and make a shell border around the top edge and bottom edge of the cake.
Make a small amount of the recd icing and use round tip, size #4 and write your birthday message on the cake top.
I bought a mini deck of cards and a pack of poker chips at the dollar store.
I took the poker hand I wanted and laminated the cards with the self stick laminating sheets.
I then stuck them on the cake top and placed some poker chips on the cake top and the front bottom edge of the cake.
Note: I used mini cards because my cake was only an eight inch round cake. If you make a bigger cake you can use regular size cards.
