Owl Cake
This cake was done for a 1 year old girls birthday at my church. Her mom found one similar to it online and I put my own twist on it. The cake is white cake and dyed to match the frosting which is pink and purple.
The cakes are 8 inch and 9 inch both are all butter cream with fondant accents. I also made a smash cake to go along with the main cake the smash cake is chocolate and all butter cream with fondant accents to match the main cake.
The smash is only a single layer 6 inch cake. The owl is a 50 / 50 mix of fondant and gum paste then I printed the owl from online and used an exacto knife to cut it out.
