No Smoking Cake
What? No-Smoking Cake? My friend asked me to make a cake with this theme and that it must be 3D. Eventually, I enjoy making one for her father's birthday to discourage him from this habit.
It consists of a 9" round cake and a swiss roll. I baked everything from scratch. I frosted the round cake with cream and filled up the "No-Smoking" sign with red piping gel.
Then I cut the swiss roll and placed in on top of the "No-Smoking" sign. I frosted it with cream and lastly I sprinkled some cocoa powder as cigerette ashes.
The wording by the side is mold from chocolate whereby "No-Smoking" is black piping gel.
