Halloween Birthday Cake
To make this Halloween birthday cake, I used the following recipe for the cake
3 Cups of sifted cake flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup butter or margarine
1 3/4 cups of sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/4 cup milk
Preheat oven at 350 degrees spray bottom of pan with vegetable pan spray.
Sift together flour, baking power and salt. Set aside Cream butter and sugar together until light. Add eggs and almond to creamed mixture and beat until thoroughly mixed.
Add flour mixture to alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. Continue beating one minute.
Pour into prepared pan. Bake 40-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool on grid 10 minutes. Gently run a thin spatula around edge of cake. Turn out onto cooling grids. Cool completely before icing.
Decoration
I used butter icing for the grass in the cemetery using the tip 234 for the side of the cake I used tip 27. I also used butter for the treasure hunter. I used piping gel and food coloring to make the blood and the same for the river under the bridge.
For the cemetery fence, I used Halloween ornaments of skeletons for the coffin made a rectangular cake and cut it to design the coffin I used butter icing.
I decorated the area with light poles and the wire of hide under the black pumpkin garland. I placed two battery lights to light the coffin and the battery box was cover with a box make of card board and decorated with butter icing and a skeleton standing on top of the box.
I placed dancing skeleton around the area and a Bride & Groom inside the gazibo also I posted some signs with bats in front of the cemetery gate.
