Grant's Stripper Cake
by Kelly Little
(Van Buren, Arkansas, USA)
I used 2 cake mixes. 1 mix went into the Wilton ball pans and the other mix went into a cookie sheet. Approximately 10 " x 15".
Bake according to directions and let cool completely.
I put the sheet cake on the board and put a layer of buttercream on it and let it dry a while. Then I put the ball halves on top. I just guessed where to trim the middle to make a waist. I used those extra pieces to put under the ball halves because a small bit hung over the edge of the cake. I trimmed the excess cake.
After I iced the 'boobs' and they dried a while, I went over the entire cake with a Viva! paper towel to smooth it out.
I used red string licorice to be the outline of the bikini top and bottom.
Then I filled in the lines with blue and pink buttercream and used a rose petal tip and made ruffles on the top and bottom.
I used a butterfly for a tattoo that I had made out of colorflow.
And I took 2 play dollars and cut them almost in half. I folded them like a fan and put a $100 bill in the top and a $10 bill in the bottoms.
I used a round tip to write happy birthday. And I used a mellon ball thingy to make the belly button.
