How to Make a Frog Birthday Cake
Easy directions for making a frog birthday cake:Bake a sheet cake the size that you need.
With an icing filled bag and round tip, size #5, draw
the frog on the cake top making the top of the frog’s head at the
middle edge of the cake.
You now cut the cake around the frog and use the cut pieces to shape
the top of the frog.
You will be using the star tip, size #18 to do all of the fill in work and the round tip, size #5 to do any outline work.

With white icing, fill in the frog’s eyes and also the sides of the cake that are on the top half of the eyes edge.
Fill in the black center of the eyes.
Make yellow icing and fill in the center circle on the frog’s tummy.
Now make orange icing and fill in the spots on the frog. The spots along the top edge of the cake carry over onto the sides.
The frog’s smile is single row filled in with the star tip.
Now fill in the rest of the frog with a Kelly green icing.
Change the tip to a round tip and outline the frog up
to the spots along the side, but not over them.
