Fire Truck Birthday Cake for Son's 3rd Birthday

This fire truck birthday cake was my 1st 3D cake. I used three cake mixes with a 1/2 sheet cake. I cut the cake in various shapes and sizes to stack and look life a fire truck. All the windows, ladders, and decorations were made with color flow.

The tires were chocolate donuts. The hubcaps were nilla wafers. The light on top of the cab of the fire truck was a gold foiled covered chocolate.

The cake is sitting on top of a foam core board so it looks like it is "driving".

This was passed on to me from a Wilton instructor down south.

Nobody wanted to eat the cake, let alone cut it!

Your fire truck is fabulous. I created my first 3D fire truck and no one wanted to cut it as well. You did an excellent job, great work!
