Ed's Squirrel on a Stump Cake

Squirrel Cake

I made this squirrel cake for my husband. He LOVES squirrel hunting.

I used the small bear pan and made the tail out of gumpaste.

The stump is just a small round pan.

I used chocolate buttercream and added a few gumpaste leaves left from our wedding cake. boy, have they come in handy! lol

I also added an acorn of gum paste.

THAT IS SO CUTE, WHEN YOU SENT PIC TO ME THEY WERE DARK AND I DID THINK IT WAS A BEAR. NOW I CAN SEE THAT IT IS A DARLING LITTLE SQUIRREL.
