Diaper Bag Cake

To make this diaper bag cake, I used a 9X13” pan. It is a double chocolate cake. I cut the cake in there layers of 4 X 3. I split them and filled them using chocolate fudge and caramel. Making 3 tiers, I stacked them up and used 3 dowels for support.

I covered the cake with white icing. Then I used white fondant and covered the entire cake. With a cookie cutter, I made baby blue color starts cutouts and placed them around the cake.

I made a white diaper out of fondant, added a blue stripe for color.

I made the green baby bottle with the brown nipple, the blue booties using a pattern and cutting it out of the internet, and the pacifier white, blue and brown out of fondant.

I let them dried for a week before handling it. I use actual white ribbon as shoes strings.

I made zipper using the same blue color as for the starts and the bag handler as well.
