Cake Decorated with Flowers

To make this flower cake, I baked a chocolate layer and one white layer. Torted and filled with cream filling. I made flowers a couple days ahead with gum paste. I then frosted the cake with butter cream and did a rope border around the bottom, then attached the flowers with butter cream on top. I then put a rope border around the top. This was for my Daughter in laws birthday...Nancy of Rialto, CA

Oh Nancy, the flowers are beautiful. How long did it take for you to make them? I hate doing flowers out of gumpaste but when I do I appreciate the time and effort after looking at the wonderful creations. You are so talented. I wish you lived near so I could learn from you.
