Apple Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

maida 4cups can add nuts also opt
sugar 2 cups
oil 2 cups
eggs 4
grated apple 2
soda 2 tsp
water 1/2 cup

Method:
Heat sugar until it melts and is dark in colour and add water. Remove and add grated apples. Keep for 1 hour. Mix all ingredients together and beat well with mixture. Bake for 30 minutes.

Can it be baked for 30 minutes? In the academic paper I'm writing on Culinary I'm explaining the relevance of duration of baking. According to the statistics, the time should be at least 40 minutes for the dough to become baked.
