Adding Logo to Fondant

my question is how do you add stenciling onto fondant. Do I roll the fondant out first, then press fondant all over fondant to cover all of the fondant. I am trying to add louis vuton (LV)intials and all the rest of the symbols that come with it. Please help I don't know how to do this. Thanks for all your help. You might try the edible markers and just write them on the fondant.
